Engagement Papercut Finished

Here is the finished version of the 10x8 3D kirigami papercut I did as an engagement present. This papercutting is mounted on a chipboard base and laid into a clear plastic box which has been attached to a wooden frame.  When lit from above, the dimensionality of the paper figures really shows up.

This papercut is a custom piece.  The elements shown depict different aspects of the couple's life, making it a very personal keepsake.

Onward and upward.  One more kirigami bifold to cut tonight and then back to other art projects. Stay tuned.
