Star Flower - Scratchboard v 5

This board will probably take me one or two more sessions to finish.  Here is the result of another two-movie session last night. I'm not happy with the four cup-shaped flowers but I'm not sure that lightening them will do the trick.  The difficulty with this medium is that while small mistakes are easily penned away with black ink, large mistakes can ruin the piece- like watercolor.  There is no painting over as in oil. An scratchboard is a very long-winded, tedious process.  Oh well, c'est la vie.
